This beautiful CD was presented to us last year as a Christmas gift from one of our favorite monasteries. As soon as we listened to these soothing sacred chants and angelic voices we knew that we wanted to share this rare recording with our faithful flock of shoppers.

The All-Night Vigil consists of three liturgical services: Vespers, Matins and The First Hour, representing the turning point in time between the day passing and the day that is on the way. These glorious ancient chants are meant to fill the soul with the beauty of the setting sun, while turning thoughts toward the spiritual light of the night—and filling hearts with hope for the coming of the new day. We suggest that you try listening to this CD at bedtime. It’s quite possible that you will enjoy a night of peaceful sleep and perhaps even some divinely inspired dreams.
