Even though our search for a convent where nuns still make lace by hand proved futile, our prayers were answered when we discovered the "Lace Ladies." Working hard to preserve the dying art of hand-made lace, these amazing women are all graduates of convent schools in Southern India where Belgian nuns have been teaching lace making and embroidery since the 1800's.

When we were designing these linen pillowcases to add to our line of signature lace products, we couldn't resist the temptation to have the "Lace Ladies" include Nun's Pleats in the design. If what you seek is a peaceful night's sleep, try resting your weary head on one of these lovely lace and delicately hand-embroidered linen pillowcases. Each pillowcase is hand-embroidered with a beautiful floral motif and you can almost hear the "Lace Ladies" whisper,
