While The Hermitage of the Holy Cross is located in Wayne, West Virginia, we like to think that the monks live in “The Land of Milk and Honey” because the monastery’s goat herd and bee colonies supply the milk and honey for this gentle liquid soap. Used as a natural skin cleanser for centuries, the soothing properties of goat’s milk are legendary. The monks also add a little olive oil and oatmeal to the soap to soften and moisturize the skin. We think this handy, hygienic pump dispenser is ideal for frequent (and fragrant) hand washing at the kitchen sink.
