Benevolent: from the Latin: Benevolentis - having a disposition to do good, manifesting love to mankind, a desire to promote happiness. In other words, a member of the genus canis (a dog).

Here at Holy Orders we are blessed with the constant companionship of two benevolent Bichons, Sister Gracey and her little sister, Saint Terese. Their duties include supervising our daily exercise and recreation time, making sure there are no crumbs left on the "convent’s" kitchen floor and greeting all visitors with their joyful spirit. And because all good deeds are rewarded at Holy Orders, we were delighted when we discovered these nutritious doggie treats baked and blessed by monks. Gracey and Tess jump with joy for them and we hope your canine companion will too!
