GIFT GIVING

Sometimes one little gift is just perfect. It can say so many things: "I love you," "Thank you," or just "I’m thinking of you." But sometimes we want our gift to be — at least symbolically — more proportionate to the magnitude of our feelings. (Not that it makes any difference, because we all know it’s the thought that really counts.) But if you would like to send a large box filled with lots of gifts we have a couple of suggestions.

THE LITTLE BLACK BOX

All our gift boxes are black. We tried other colors but we are true believers that nothing beats basic black. Black has been the standard for centuries for monks and nuns and we can’t help but wonder if perhaps another classic, the "little black dress," was inspired by their simplicity of style.

THE WHITE BURLAP BAG

Because Holy Orders is all about gift-giving, every item we offer is a gift. Whether it’s a gift for a friend, a family member or even a gift to yourself, every item comes wrapped in its own white burlap bag, hand-made by Araceli Lojas.

LITTLE BLESSINGS

And because we believe that every product comes with a blessing from the monk or nun who made it, we have included "A Little Blessing". Inspired by religious holy medals, our "Little Blessings" are good luck charms. Put one on your keychain or give them away to friends who may be in need of a little blessing. Or do as we have done and attach it to your pet’s collar — all creatures great and small deserve little blessings. We have even devised "A Little Blessing" Redemption Plan because we feel you should always count your blessings but you should also make your blessings count!

We call this simple little gift box “The Classic” because it continues a tradition we started years ago.
